Each member will have a "Profile" that he/she can update whenever they need. The data in these profiles is used in other forms and downloads. This section is also where members upload a photo of themselves which will appear in the Doctor Search links.

Every society is different; therefore, it is important to member profiles to be diverse and dynamic. The ROS chose to have multiple tabs with address fields and other important information. Some fields are required and others are not.

Several Modules are available for the Calendar including the mini Calendar with upcoming Events:

Society Sites can custom create links to download any info from your database. With these forms, there is no need for anyone to retain a member roster... the website continually holds all data until you are ready to download.

A document repository can be provided that holds any file types for download to certain member groups. Some Categories are available to all members and some only to Admins.

Lists of any type can be constructed. In this example a Member List has been created so that members may search for other members and email them using a link (does not show actual personal email ever).

Our "Doctor Search" (or "Lawyer Search" for that matter) can be extremely useful for the public. You can search for someone based on a simple search (Name, Zip, City):

or using multiple profile fields such as Secondary Language, Gender, Specialty, etc:

A full Survey Component is also available for complex, mulitple-question surveys. This example includes optional popup question to take the survey.

This is a very simple form the ROS uses to allow members to RSVP for meetings online. They can choose a meal one day, then change it if they like at another time. The web site displays who is having what in order for a total dinner count to be made prior to the meeting.

Using your database, Society Sites will create a custom map showing the location of all offices with members that want to be found by the public. This is useful if a public user would like to find a doctor or other professional nearby.

The Classifieds component is very useful for larger societites. Members who are logged in can submit/edit their own ads for either auto-inclusion to the site or for Admin approval.

XML news feeds can automatically grab clickable headlines from other web sites of your choice. This only needs to be done once... The ROS employs this trick to get headlines from its national group, the American Optometric Association:

Society Sites has in-house logo design options for you. The ROS has a custom logo for the top image which is on every page. They also choose to have images at the start of all news articles. Each of the photos on the site have been made by Society Sites:

Society Sites uses a very effective falling popup to get a user's attention. It can be shown only once, or every page load:

The ROS has a very effective grassroots legislative effort. In order to streamline the process of finding their legislators to call or email in the event of an impending vote on some Optometric legislation, the ROS chose to have a custom page created that automatically displays each members' legislator for their Home and Office addresses:
